Tracy Markham

I grew up in a military family and understand the art and stress of both moving in and moving out. While buying and selling a home is a complex process, I have plenty of experience. I was launched into real estate by a boutique brokerage in Frederick, MD. I continued to make a high level commitment to my real estate education by adding a Virginia license to my credentials. I have hands on expertise in working with several big banks and REO properties. Most of my days are spent working with delightful clients, reading over home inspection reports, viewing homes, and negotiating contracts. The true reward comes from putting a SOLD sign on a lawn or passing keys over to ecstatic new home owners. I am thankful to all my loyal clientele, personal referrals and repeat business that continues to form the foundation of my career.

Coming from a marketing background and holding an MBA from Wilmington University, after completing her education studies she married her college sweetheart Brett and they moved to Montgomery County, Maryland where they still reside with their daughter, dog Avery and horse Shotgun. After starting her professional photography business in 2009 and doing marketing and photography work for a custom home builder, Tara soon realized her love of all things real estate. Whether it was attending open houses on weekends or spending hours browsing housing sites, Tara made sure to inundate herself with real estate. After a few years working in the industry Tara decided to take the jump from real estate marketing and photography to become an agent herself. Priding herself on consistent, reliable, and honest work ethic, Tara loves the excitement of first-time home buying but is also equally committed to helping all buyers and sellers alike.
